In 2013, Australian New York City resident Yael Stone played inmate 'Lorna Morello' In the film Orange Is the New Black. Yael earned a bachelor's degree from NIDA. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was pleased to have found her new home after the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where the show played with great acclaim, moved to the place she now calls New York City.
