Julie M. Benz (born on May 1, 1972) is an American actress who is best well-known for her performance as Rita Bennett on Dexter for where she received the award in 2006. Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in an Series, Mini-Series as well as a Motion Picture Made for Television. The show she starred in was No Ordinary Family until it was cancelled on May 13 2011. Among her previous well-known role were Darla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.
